The script has been updated to the newest version, which fixed the downline earning issue. It does not appear that it will automatically credit for the missed time, which will be known for sure within the next 6 or 7 hours. The downline earnings update one time per day around 4 - 5 pm eastern time.

To make up for the missed downline earnings, I have doubled the referrral commission for the next 8 days. The referral commissions (meaning what you earn from your referrals) will be 30% instead of 15% until next Sunday.

As the on site forum (host at my-ptr.com) will be going away soon, I have moved the post for the free upgrade requests to the support folder for DreamMails at GlobalFriendsOnline. The upgrade is free to the first 1,000 members who request it. A request must be made in order to receive the free upgrade.

Administrative Message #54 - Free Upgrade FAQs

I'm receiving a lot of duplicate free upgrade requests on both the forum and by e-mail as well as some repeated questions. Hopefully this message will clear up any questions surrounding the free upgrade.

1) How do I request a free upgrade?

I would prefer that free upgrade requests be made on the forum as it is by far the most reliable form of communication. The direct link to the forum post to request the free upgrade is: http://globalfriendsonline.com/index.php?topic=3551.0

2) How do I know that my account has been upgraded?

I reply to all upgrade requests. You can also check your account type at http://www.dreammails.net/pages/userinfo.php If you have the free upgrade, it will say Account type: DreamMails Free

3) How do I redeem for the free ads?

Free ads for the free upgrade members are found on the same page as the free ads for the paid upgrade members, which can be found at http://www.dreammails.net/pages/upgraded.php

4) I'm a paid upgraded member. Can I have the free upgrade as well?

Unfortunately, there is no way to stack the upgrades.

5) When does the upgrade expire?

Free upgrades do not expire as long as you are an active member of the site. "Active Member" at DreamMails is one who logs into their account once every 60 days. Also, keywords must be correct. There is one "bad" keyword, which is "Delete My Account." Also, only one of the following should be checked: "I am a Male" or "I am a Female". The remainder of the keywords are entirely voluntary.

6) I requested an upgrade and did not receive it. What do I do?

If you e-mailed your request, please post on the forum as the server is quite busy and messages can be delayed. This does not happen often, however as it is a possibility, I would prefer that the forum be used for free upgrade requests.

7) The upgraded ads page says that I have used all of my ads for the month? What do I do?

After the ads are used for a month (ie. March), you cannot claim them again until the next month (ie. April). The ads reset themselves on the first of each month.

How much does the free upgrade cost?

It's free! No cost to you. It is a benefit of being a member of DreamMails. All you have to do is request the upgrade and remain an active member of the site.

Free upgrades are given until the site has 1,000 members. Currently, DreamMails has 410 members, 371 of which are active (one log in during the last 60 days).

If you do not have the free upgrade, you can make a request at the forum and I'll upgrade your account and confirm the upgrade via the post on the forum.

Administrative Message #57 - Proxies

Effective immediately, the proxy server SoftLayer is banned. I will be blocking the name and all IPs that pop up with that ISP. It is a site that hosts proxy servers. It is not an Internet Service Provider. It's purpose is to mask the true location.

Also, university IPs are not allowed as there are too many foreign users using the university open IP addresses as a proxy.

DreamMails allows almost every country (except for those not allowed to trade funds in the United States). The only reason for the use of a proxy server at DreamMails is to gain access to the Tier 1 & 2 PTC section.

Administrative Message #72 - Click Rewards
June 29, 2009

Effective July 1, the monthly click contests will cease. I am replacing them with Click Rewards. It has been a success at my other site and I hope it works out here as well.

I've set the click levels to a reasonable level based on the current month's click totals. The lowest amount of clicks needed to receive a prize is 250.

I'll duplicate the text from my reply in that thread to the site so that there is an on site record of the reward structure.

Also, on a different note, if you have an ad running for PayingCents and wish to change it, please do not hesitate to contact me through the Contact link or through the forum. This goes for any site whose ad you would like changed, not just PayingCents. At the moment, PayingCents is showing as having their hosting suspended.

Administrative Message #74 - July 2nd Update

Welcome to all new members of DreamMails!

The referral contest has been going very well. We are up to 420 active
members. DreamMails gained a remarkable 147 members from June 1st to
July 2nd. The referral contest is active until 1,000 active members
have joined. The leader is usdollars with 59 referrals. The stat that
won't show on the Referral Contest page is the No Referrer line,
meaning that the person joined without a referral ID in the box. The
majority of these members come from my own self promotion of the site.
Over the last month and two days, 50 new members have joined without a
referral.

I do still plan on adding the affiliate page option soon. I worked on
it for a bit last month. I basically just need to figure out why the
rotating banners aren't working on my test page and it'll be ready to
go. I don't want to launch it with any obvious issues.
